Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist T.I. has made history with his new single, “Whatever You Like.” The record-setting track has rocketed into the #1 spot on this week’s Billboard “Hot 100,” marking the biggest-ever one-week leap to the top of the chart. Now in its third week on the chart, the single has ascended into the pole position from last week’s ranking at #71. “Whatever You Like” is the first single from the Grammy Award-winning rapper’s much-anticipated new album, “PAPER TRAIL,” due in stores and at all online retailers on September 30th.

The single’s #1 success represents the first solo chart-topper of T.I.’s remarkable career, and second overall following “My Love,” his Grammy-winning collaboration with Justin Timberlake. “Whatever You Like” – produced by Jim Jonsin, whose many credits include Lil Wayne’s #1 smash, “Lollipop” – is also #1 on the week’s “Hot Digital Songs” chart, with stunning first-week sales exceeding 205,000 downloads.

“No Matter What,” the first street track and video from “PAPER TRAIL,” has proven an online blockbuster, earning over one million views at T.I.’s official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/user/TIvsTIP. In addition, the clip has earned the ATL-based artist a nod for “Best Male Video” – directed by Self and James Lopez - at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording group Gym Class Heroes have announced details of their upcoming co-headline tour with The Roots. The North American schedule – which features support from Homeschool/Atlantic Records R&B sensation Estelle – will begin on October 3rd at Baltimore’s Rams Head Live! and then traverse the continent through a November 1st finale at Albany, New York’s Washington Avenue Armory (see attached itinerary).

Pre-sale tickets will be available tomorrow, August 12th, for all members of Gym Class Heroes’ official fan club, The Varsity Club (http://thevarsityclub.net). Katy Perry One of the Boys CD Review

Katy Perry has a really nice voice. Her voice doesn’t fit all the way into a rock or a pop category. The unique tone of her voice is catchy. Katy’s album “One of the Boys” is one of the most popular albums of the summer season. Her song “I Kissed A Girl,” was a number one sensation. The song is not free from controversy, but it isn’t the only song on the album to raise an eyebrow or two. The song “Ur So Gay,” is about a man with feminine ways one can suspect.

Besides the songs that people love to talk about as being controversial, the song “Hot n Cold” is an upbeat song that the teen and twenty-something crowd will find appealing. The song “If You Can Afford,” me is a nice upbeat song. It would be a great song for an album soundtrack. The song “Lost,” is a melodic ballad. “Waking Up In Vegas” is a radio friendly rock song.

Katy Perry is destined for success. “One Of The Boys” is a breakout success for the new artists.
